Perios is an absolute gem in Brindley Place! We were delighted to find out that everything on the menu is halal, and they offer a fantastic selection of mocktails, making it a great spot for non-alcoholic options. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us plenty of time to check the menu. Anytime we needed help deciding or understanding a dish, they were more than happy to assist. We ordered the fajitas and nachos, both of which were absolutely delicious. When we were indecisive about which dip to choose (since you’re only allowed one), the staff member went above and beyond—she generously gave us two and even added a third to help us decide. That thoughtful gesture really stood out! The mocktails were also amazing, refreshing, and full of flavor. On top of the great food and drinks, the restaurant’s interior is beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, Prio’s offers outstanding food, excellent service, and a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely be returning—highly recommend!
Great spot for a quick Mexican fix. I expected it to be a bit more authentic, but it leans more towards Tex-Mex, offering a bit of everything. The decor was brilliant and the music, while not traditional Mexican, had a great late 90s RnB vibe which added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly attentive. I particularly enjoyed the pulled beef tacos – packed with flavour – and the margarita paired perfectly with the meal. The tortillas were a standout too: thin, crispy, and full of crunch. Don’t forget to ask for the avocado and hot sauce – they really complete the experience.

We found this little gem Mexican Restaurant. They had an offer on for Thursday for half price Tacos we decided to give it a go. The staff (Aggy) were welcoming & friendly, gave us advice on what to try . We were not disappointed, food was well presented and delicious. We spoilt ourselves to Cocktails and squeezed in a desert too ! The Churros was delicious as was the cheesecake. The place was not too busy, nice n cheery, relaxed atmosphere and sat with a lovely view of the canal. Service was fast but not rushed at all. Would recommend We were a mother and daughter on a birthday celebration
The best beef nachos ever! Beautifully flavoured pulled beef, neither bland nor strong. The tortilla chips were great too, not too soft or hard and nice bite sized for loading comfortably. My second visit here when I work in Birmingham. I opted for the plato grande fajitas for two.... For just me. Admittedly I was being a piggy, but it was actually the perfect amount if you’re feeling hungry with 8 tortillas and a mix of chicken and beef. The beef was lovely and tender and the whole meal very tasty with the BBQ sauce. The range of dips were great, although a little small, however I didn’t attempt to ask for more, so perhaps they would have provided. The staff were great and the overall experience excellent. I’m probably showing my age, but I’ve marked down the atmosphere because the music was far too loud for me. I didn’t however ask for it to be turned down. Highly recommended if you’re after some lovely Mexican food.
Had bottomless brunch on Saturday and will definitely book again next time I'm in Birmingham! Mango margarita is so good and the food is amazing! The calamari was the best I've ever had and the burrito was incredible. 10/10
